America’s veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country, but military service changes them forever. Aging veterans may have life-long chronic health issues that were born during military service decades ago. This program will explore veterans’ unique experiences and health concerns based on their era of service, discuss issues that can arise in the end-of-life care of veterans, and explain what resources are available to help.
“Warriors Until the End: Why Are Veterans Different?”
Linda Rockwell, MPA, will discuss the influences, both physical and psychological, that impact our military and mold them into the veterans they become will be shared.
VA Medical Foster Homes
